Tin Toys

Inspired by Gareth Surgey’s photography we’ve sourced a new range of tin toys. They’re great fun and the boxes are artworks in their own right.

Spring Exhibition

A Stranger and a Pilgrim

Maspie House Gallery in Falkland will be displaying their Spring Exhibition in the gallery from the 1st March.

The gallery will be showcasing the works of top Scottish artists such as Joseph Davie, Peter McLaren, James Thomson, Tim Cockburn, Rowena Diggle, Gareth Surgey, Leo de Feu and Dominic Currie.

Gallery owner John McLaren says “We’re tremendously excited about our Spring Exhibition which features outstanding paintings, watercolours, photographs and ceramics.  Gareth Surgey’s Links Market photography is particularly timely and it inspired us to source a new range of tin wind-up fairground toys. The carousels and big wheels may not be on the same scale as the Market’s,  but they’re just as much fun.”

The Gallery will continue the permanent exhibition of work by contemporary artists such as Susan McGill, Audrey Reid and Sarah McLaren.

Maspie House Gallery is open, 11am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday

and from 12 noon to 5pm on Sundays.
